The Falmouth Historical Society and the Museums on the Green,
55-65 Palmer Avenue, welcome the Christmas season by
opening up their specially-decorated 18th century venues to one and
all. The Dr. Francis Wicks House and the Conant House will be set in holiday
splendor and open for viewing at the following times:
- Saturday, December 3rd, 1:00 pm-8:00 pm
- Sunday, December 4th, 1:00 pm-4:00 pm
- Thursday, December 8th through Sunday,
December 11th, 1:00 pm-4:00 pm
- Thursday, December 15th through Sunday,
December 18th, 1:00 pm-4:00 pm
In special partnership with the Falmouth Garden Club and the Falmouth
Newcomers Club, visitors can view the decorations and see the grandeur of
Falmouth with a theme of “Christmas Memories”. Come
and see these glorious remembrances of days gone by in their holiday finest. The
Museum Store, located in the Conant House, will be open for holiday shopping
with a variety of gift-giving ideas for all ages, including bayberry, cranberry
and beeswax candles, scrimshaw ornaments, and a wide range of games and
literature.
